April 21 is declared as Kartini Day in Indonesia. Kartini is honored as a "pioneer in the emancipation of women". She fought for women's right to get the same opportunity for schooling as men. To honor her effort, we wore Indonesian traditional costumes and did several activities related to Kartini.
